Re: Congrats to Team Predator
Carl, you guys did a great job of setting up your boat for this class. It's too bad a lot of people don't understand the SBI/APBA prod. rules. 92 mph is 92 mph period. It's much harder to race with an eye on the gps that it is to race wide open. Our racing is no different than drag racers. They are all capable of going faster but they have to stay in their bracket.
Right now, you have the better mousetrap. You built a large boat with great motors and run to the limit of your bracket. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure that the Nascar guys go to the limit of their rules also. Great job. See you in Dania. |
Re: Congrats to Team Predator
Irace,
Thanks for the positive response. I think you summed up what I was trying to say very well. Good anology too. We bought the boat without motors and were actually planning to go P-4 in our rookie season. When we ran it the first time it went faster than we thought it would and had to either build new motors or move up in class. Boy are right about keeping one eye on the GPS. Carl |
Re: Congrats to Team Predator
Boat looks great guys, hard work and testing pays off. We'll see you in a few weeks in Dania.
