Thanks for the kind words. The setup was not right and I have not been in the boat for a year so I was a little rusty, plus Tuesdays test session was basically a joke wiuth solid 5 to 6 footers, then yesterday, a 3 footer every once in awhile but mostly nothing that even upset the boat.

Turmel did a great job driving and we actually had a blast in the boat. I have a bunch of stuff being flown in today and hopefully we will have more MPH tomorrow... I need to beat Miklos (at least) or I will never be able to show up again anywhere that he is located in the world, if you know what I mean... it never ends...

One more thing..... Ken and Shannon Doyle BEAT ALL THE SUPER V's in the David Bryant Jewelers Phantom... but were entered in F-2... this is not a misprint, they not only beat them, they waxed them, hard.

I am surprised that no one else mentioned that...

That is interesting that they lost their steering, they went around the course 3 or 4 more laps, it seemd to be turning just fine, but I am sure they know what happeped better than we do.

on day one, Yachts lost steering pumps and turned on tabs and engines for three laps....thats how good fountains turn!!
Shogren were smokin the skaters but had an electrical problem, engine were cutting out two times a lap and still finished within 30 secs of Skaters!

Shogren was never in front of Lucas in any of the three races, the only time they were in front was when Lucas was lapping them. Lucas ran a perfect three races, without missing a beat.

It's true, Ken and Shannon took the lead early on the Super V's and didn't look back. They maintained the lead and may have even been opening it up lap after lap. Since they were entered as a P2 boat they pulled in before the Super V's. The boat was running great.
