Re: St. Cloud "2007"

We need to support this race, St. Cloud is 100% behind Offshore Race (SBI/APBA) and been there for us. Now is our time to give alittle back, we a have a pretty good boat count so far but more won't hurt , looks like the Super Cats will be out to play also.

Frank,

I have no idea on speed yet, this thing just got painted(after a loooooooooong restoration), and hasnt even been wet yet, I still have to finish the wiring, and install the steering, and interior. The problem is, it may be just a little slow to be competitive in P5, I am hoping for 65, but even if I get it, we all know with average lap speed, we go a lot faster than that in the straights, I would have to run WFO thru the turns to keep up.

Rick,

It should be good for P5. No average speeds anymore...now a top speed of 72.0 on GPS.

If the course at St. Cloud is the same as last year, I heard you never had to lift to get around....so WFO it is.

WFO:D :D

I'll have to see if I can get it together and tested by then, and then see if I can come up with the $$$ to run, but I think if i can pull off just one or 2 races, it will be that and Marathon, as I have raced marathon before, and going thru the bridge is a trip:D

Rick,

I'm guessing they may need some patrol boats...that's the best place to watch a race from.

Frank,

I just found out tonight I may have a class to go to for work Saturday morning, but would still be up there by around 3:00 Saturday, I'll let ya know. If I do make it, I will be on the lake saturday doing some testing of my own, as it will be a last minute thing getting this boat together.

Bill,

I havent taken any pics recently, as not much has changed except it is now almost all wired, and the steering is installed, but those would be boring pics anywhoo, but I will get ya a pic of the dash tomorrow, as that is now complete.

Rick,

Testing doesnt open up until 3pm Sat anyways due to the bass tournament on Fri and Sat so you'll be there in plenty of time. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks Trent,

I will be up with the boat, I am definitely working Saturday morning in Palm beach Gardens, I will tow the boat to work with me, and head straight up after that, gonna be too hectic to race, I think I will just enjoy this one. Maybe I'll run Marathon, if i can raise the $$$. I am going to take Sunday night off from work, so we can hang and have a few pops after the race.:drink:

I might just bring the Dragon out to that race...is there going to be any SV's there....

cuda 02-16-2007 06:39 PM

Where do the boats launch? At the fish camp, or the county park?

Xtremeracing 02-16-2007 07:22 PM

The new Marina , and ramp that was just completly re done and finished last year.

rchevelle71 02-16-2007 09:34 PM

That would be the park Cuda, they put up bleachers right on the beach there.

On the east side of the lake?

F1-00 Racing 02-17-2007 12:26 AM

I actualy think the south side of the lake, its either Fla ave or New york ave off of 192 runs right into the marina(they both run into the lake)
