NYC Race Rooms
 

Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the NYC race as planned....seems the local District Court needs me for Jury Duty starting September 7th.

We have already made reservations at the host hotel (Sheraton Newark Airport) at the SBI discount rate. If anyone needs a room and would like to take mine at the discount rate...please contact me. I will hold the reservation until next Thursday...the deadline for room cancellation.

Sorry to miss the race....duty calls.

And to think I always thought you were allowed to postpone your service at least once....

You may want to look into that if you really want to come to NY instead. If you even had airfares already paid for, they would probably reschedule your Jury Duty....

Somehow, I'm not surprised at your suggestion.

I never said to try to get out of it, I said to get it postponed to a later date. (BIG DIFFERENCE) You will still serve, just at a later date....

How true........but then again, he isn't serving in Key West.
That's the place to get on a jury. Done it many times and wouldn't miss it.
