JBS takes it

In my opinion......JBS takes it, Miss GEICO has been racing by themselves with the occassional rough-up of BUD. Don't get me wrong, Miss GEICO are pretty talented but they have to focus on an efficient race and not try to "blow" everyone out of the water because all that's going to do is destroy their boat which, by now, is probably pretty beat-up from "flying". You can't leave out Aquamania either with their monster but I think JBS will steal the show....unless WARBIRD shows everyone up with their sleeper........

Anyone have a pic of warbird...?...will this boat be competing actively next season?

Maximus 10-10-2008 08:43 AM

Doesn't, this stuff always bring out the one post wonders, blow hards and know it all's.

Turbine marine and AMF have worked for numerous years with the boats to build a package that worked. Scotty and I endured some pretty poorly set up machines on quite a few races over the years. We learned and adjusted as necessary. All of what we as a team learned has been put into the Aqua and JBS Mystics. They are VERY fast. Yes it is true, our "old girl is due for some R&R and a Dr. visit .... KW will see if she still has some life left in her.

Scott and I have enjoyed a reliability edge on our piston brothers which we exploited throughout the year. Right now, against the new generation Turbine Marine Mystics we are the ones that are at a disadvantage equipment wise. So what ..thats life, you don't hear us complaining. We love the competition. We have some seat time on them they have fresh new equipment, speed and a little something to prove.

Were going to have some great camaraderie and continue to build our class.

As Dave Branch said.

I have said it before...I'll say it again...All the turbines racing today are because of AMF/John Haggin.

Hey Maximus, sounds like something hit home. Pulling out the umbrella just in case it rains, are we? Don't take someone's opinion to heart. Especially a one-post-wonder-blow-hard-know-it-all, right? Don't sweat-it, man, you're mastered. Plus you have Scott with you. Remember....."DON'T BE AFRAID OF COMPETITION ".

All tied up!!

rules

look at page 83, 12.1

what about the rule of having to compete in atleast two races during the season or at last years worlds?

audacity 10-14-2008 08:43 AM

If you win a world championship your grandfathered in.

audacity 10-14-2008 08:47 AM

"or at the discretion of the SBI/APBA Offhore Prez"...sorry, you may have missed that.
