Just to inform everybody .

DAREDEVIL SHOW continues in Lauderdale. LOL

This should be a great race , plus the hotel is in the pit's and right at the start/finish line.

SO BOOK YOUR ROOMS TO SEE THIS SHOW !!!

Ft. Lauderdale is always a great city in race at. We r looking forward to this one. What a great pick off for Sarasota a month later.

See y'all there, I will be around on Sunday, but will be in Islamorada on Saturday.

What hotel is that or is there a better choice near the viewing area?

I actually think the hotel on the SBI website is the best deal and its right at the start finishline,drypits and wetpits !!!

Ok, I'm booked. Now this might be silly but thought I bring this up. I asked about the race and the front desk didn't know anything about it. Now that wouldn't be unusual , so I decided to see who did. The Secretary for the Mgr. didn't, guest services mgr. didn't, reservations didn't, and to top it off, neither did 2 people at the marina. The lady in sales was the only one I found and she said 10 slips were taken. I know OSO is the info capital, but hope they're advertising more than that. A poster or 2. lol

If you check the SBI website you will see that ALL pits, registration, rooms, etc etc. are booked with Bahia Mar Resort and the SBI office has a contact person that they are dealing with to make all these things happen.
I'm also sure that there are many other events at this large resort before ours and the employees are informed of them on a need to know basis, and they will be ready and prepared for us when the time comes.
We are familiar with this site .... it's not our first time there.
If your asking if this race is going to happen........yes, of course it is, and things will be taken care of.
Please relax and don't worry about it.

Sorry Pat, didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I know the race will go on because I am on SBT and OSO. I'm not worried other then since the races have been there before you would think the host hotel employees would know something a week out. What about the common man that calls and ask. We all know racing needs spectators aka CBS. Just an observation and not criticism.
