sarasota kilo & race questions
 

I have been trying to get as many spectator boats as possible to attend the kilo's-I keep getting asked about # of race boats attempting as we had a low turnout last run. can anyone advise me as to # of boats signed up now & estimated # to actually run the kilo & who is running the kilo? Anyone know how fast the phenomenon has run so far and estimated kilo speed? For the race itself-WHO IS COMING? less than 2 weeks away

Your best bet would be to call the SBI office and speak to John. He can tell u the number of boats and the order they r running. SBI ...305 296-6166

I just got off the phone with SBI and yes the Copeland Phenomenon is schedulled to run the kilo. They are going to be calling me later, so we can get the current boat list, and run times for the photographers, and fans.

unfortunately that's not going to happen

have heard back from sbi-anyone know any data?

SBI did not call me back; however the web site states:

"On Friday, July 3, from 7:00 am to Noon select teams will take to Sarasota Bay, in front of Ringling Museum, for the SBI Kilo World Speed Record Event."
