Less than three weeks away now!
Things are getting really exciting in Michigan City. Huge buzz after last year and the folks in M.C. are really getting worked up. Can't wait to get you all here.
I'm trying to shore up plans for the parade and the big block party we're planning, so I'd love to hear from any racers out there who plan to take part in both events. Both will be awesome, especially with a lot of boats.
So let me know if you don't mind.
Thanks,
j.

Michigan City

Is there any update on this event, specifically regarding all the scheduled events for the weekend. Also i am deciding whether to trailer my boat there but I'm not entering the competition. is there any information on what the port authority is charging for launching. I can imagine that there will be any slips available. I grew up there, so i'm very familiar with the available space @ Washington Park.

Hope to see you here.
We've got a week's worth of stuff.
Thursday night is a racer party (VIP and public) at Matey's.
Friday all day a party at the Clubhouse - three live bands and racers and boats there all day.
Saturday - huge boat parade and boat block party downtown.
Race on Sunday.

Also, there are some slips available at Washington Park Marina. Give the port authority a call

Trail Creek Marina is now the only place to launch....they charge $10.00 but I am not sure if they charge more for being out of state. Also Washington Park does not reserve slips. You have to rent one when you arrive as your boat is supposed to be in the slip that night. When are you coming in?
