Morehead runs their race in the bay, a great race site

The city is prety awesome, they support the race 100% and the fans r like no others.

CC oh the race happened, too bad you didn't make it! LoL.

Robbie, there were only about 3 boats that went to AC that might actually have raced in Morehead City. (WHM/AMSOIL/Simmons)

There were a few others that were no shows for whtever reason.

We were glad we made the trip, MHC is a cool race site!

Freeze Frame couldn't make it to MC so it should have occured to me to get my camera out...........but I didn't and missed the entertainment shot of the season, Stan and Reggie singing Elvis songs on the top of the SBI truck. If any Morehead people have any shots, please send them in.
This is a fun town and the crowd on Sunday was bigger than ever.

But quick question, while looking at the results I noticed
2 classes that seem similar...

Superboat V Extreme
Superboat V Unlimited.

Extreme in boat racing as I know it has always been "anything goes” Unlimited is just that.. Unlimited

Why the two classes, there must be some substantial difference between the two

No need to PM the classes are very close in rules not all of us can afford to race a FULL season under extreme rules it gets very costly to rebuild a 1500 hp engine every 2 or 3 races so we put a 509 inch rule for super chargers in place to keep the couple teams that want to put shows on all year in it. As it stands SV unlimited can run an entire season on a pair of engines then go to Key West with a fresh pair and use the engines you raced all year as spares, and if they cant PM me I have the best engine companies tele. hope that explains it.

Third weekend in september every year, looks like the 16-18 for 2011. Hope Talk N' Trash will be there next year, you guys would love it here and i know our fans would love you guys!
