Of couse, Miss Geico Racing took first.

P1 Twisted Metal (former Miccoskee) took first
I guess Stihl took first in SCL.....

Stihl and Loriblu put on a heck of a race. Not sure who won though. All together it was a great event and the boat turnout was good also. I believe 29 boats participated. A few breakdowns int the second race but a big thanks to all drivers who showed up.

Karaokemike 05-22-2011 08:00 PM

Talked to the Loriblu crew and they did take the win in SCL. Came down to the last lap on the last straight away. Great win for that team!!

Cash Bar 05-22-2011 09:27 PM

Is it weird that S-1 is still on the old boat and Talbot still has S-29?

bobo 05-22-2011 11:55 PM

Thank you .

The S-1 is for the national championship, Gary won the national Championship in 2010 so he's still S-1.

Talbot is 2010 World Champ and 2 for 2 so far this season!!!:drink:

YUP,

Had a great time, and what a great place to have a race, the establishments right there at the water neext to the pits were Key. Kerry and crew did an excellent job. Thanks again for feeding me Frank, next race I am bringing a grill:drink:

Rick

Ryan Beckley 05-23-2011 06:58 AM

Awesome event and great race site. Good job to everyone.

S-1 Risk / GB was in the lead when they had a minor failure. Tlbot was running a strong second nd took over the lead for the win. CONGRATS!

Anyone know what happened to Joe Cellelo and Wheels in the Castronova boat. Looked like they had hydraulic problems with the trim?

Boat was running real slow?

KAP

Ryan Beckley 05-23-2011 10:50 AM

They didn't have any issue, finished right behind us, guess that means we were running slow too, huh?

Had a great day at the Bar with Jerry and his family, we put the race on all the T Vs. Very cool to watch you guys live on the tube. Must have been 60 or 70 people watching the race inside and the day was a blueprint day. Hats of to Coco beach and SBI and all that participated. GREAT RACE . Boat racing is just the coolest thing ever. Jeff

flboater 05-23-2011 06:08 PM

Thanx to everyone who came out and supported the Teams in Cocoa Beach. Perfect racing conditions and a great race between Loriblu/Fastboats.com and Stihl in the Supercat class with Loriblu taking the checkered flag.

Ryan Beckley 05-23-2011 07:23 PM

Velocity won, DarDevil 2nd, Formula 3rd. National Guard and Peters & May did not make a start.
