Ok so whats the story with Big Thunder??? Owner, Boat Type & Length Power???? Hp????

Bob Morgan and his wife own the boat and they are from Lake Of The Ozarks,power is 4 1000 plus Hp engines and it is a bad ass piece of equipment and when all 4 engines are running in sinc it is hard to beat.:drink:

Big Thunder will race during Super Cat Unlimited???

At this years LOTO Shootout, I had a nice 20 minute conversation w/ Bob. Mostly about being in Florida and why on Earth he got back into the Marina Business! He was funny, witty, had great stories, and I definately mirror all the sentiments mentioned about Bob and TJ in all the postings on the Internet. I test rode a boat w/ him many years ago. White capped Labor Day Sunday at the Lake. He spun his hat around looked at me and said hang on. He wasn't sh**** One of those things you never forget. Hopefully time will heal. I found a video tribute on a Key West site. I can send the link if anyone wants to see it. Shows the boat crash, so I don't think it's real fitting to post. RIP Bob.

cockpit got crushed. this isnt the first time some one got killed in these boats kevin brown 1988 alantic city.sats are bilt for river speed runs not for offshore racing when will they wise up!!!!!!!!

Why dont you ask Motely Crew if they think their Skater canopy is junk ! They were involved in a rollover on wed. without injury, and Im sure both Ron and Scott would be happy to respond ! What was the last Skater you were in to be able to make that statement ? Mike

FastBoats.com went over testing also on wed. and the boat did excellent.

Hey Front Seat Driver,you are clueless.Kevin Brown was in a quarter canopy 32 Skater and these unfortunate deaths were in a fully enclosed canopy.I am not going to comment on the canopy systems but if you called Peter at Skater or Randy Scism and told them you are a super engineer and you can solve all of the canopy failures I am sure they would listen,also why you are at it why dont you call Obama and fix all of the econonomic problems we are having that would really be great.:angry-smiley-038:

catamarans were designed to run flat waters period. they should team up with the unlimited hydros. and motley crew did a easy role over not like thunder.tommy gentry rolled over and wound up in a coma for two years before he died.why do you think they call them SKATERS!!! there air intrapped **** boxs!!!!!

I think they call them Skaters as that was a name on an very old powerboat that raced way back when, I would have to get my book that described those old days. I was reading though it to try and come up with cool names for a boat company at one time and notice the name Skater and I would be that is where Peter decided to use it.

Hey ya Fn moron,where you there when Tom Gentry went over or under a rock,he did not pass because of the roll over,he unfortunatley got hung up by his glove on the canopy hatch release,R,I P Mr Gentry and if he was alive he would grap you up from your sneakers and teach you this thing called respect and in my opinion you have none.So go back under your rock and learn to keep your pie hole shut and maybe someday you will realize what an arrogant prick you are.
