Wow, this is very sad to hear! I had the pleasure to meet Doug at the MI City SBI Race a few years back. My Father and I spent a good 2 hours Saturday night hanging out with him in the pits. It was one of the highlights of our weekend that we still talk about. We talked boats and he shared some great stories. When I told him about my scout project, He was excited to pull a an album out of the truck and share a similar project that he worked on in the past. He said to call him anytime. Now, I wish I had... He was one great guy! This is really sucks to hear :(
