Pantera - Outerlimits ?????? When F2????
 

During the silly season that's all I heard - when will Eric race the Outerlimits in F2? When will Joe race the Pantera in F2? I'm just curious - both boats are bad ass! BH

I spoke to Jo the other day,and he has been so busy at the shop he hasnt had time to work on the race boat. He said he was going to try and make time to finish it but he didnt see it haooening any time soon...

Hey Brian,

Good to hear from you.I have attached 2 pictures of my new F2 35 twin step hull as it is being laid up now.These pictures were taken on Tuesday morning.I should have it coming out of the mold early next week.We are glassing in the stringers and bulkheads now.This will be our first stepped bottom boat so I am excited to see how it will turn out.We have put allot of time and effort into this project.I have had the deck laid up on the floor for sometime now and should have the boat together in approximately 7-10 days.The boat will be ALL BLACK again with the cat eyes even bigger than before.I will be going with a no rub rail look glassing the hull and deck from the inside and out.I am doing many unique features on this boat.

I hope to get more F2 race boats out there racing against us, especially other boat manufactures.

How about a "cut down" 35 Survivor P4 or P3 boat with a single 800 HP and Speedmaster drive???

We have a customer that may be interested in going this way with a 2 speed transmission and a single 1000 HP blower motor.

I stopped by Pantera last week and had a chance to see this new F2 race boat 35 Survivor these guys are building and I was so impressed with the neatness of the lamination.The deck is wicked looking in an all black finish.This boat should be real exciting to watch in F2 class later this year.I know Jo will run that boat hard.I have been out in 6 footers in a 28 Pantera and he was a master running that boat at wide open throttle.I can only imagine a 35 Survivor.I think he was going to pull the hull out this week sometime.Hey Jo post some pictures when it comes out of the mold and good luck this year.I might need to save a little more and go with a 35 instead of a 28 .

The quality of these two pics I am going to post now are bad since I took them with a throw away camera and the black gelcoat does not help.

I figured you guys might like to see our new F2 35 race hull coming out of the mold on Friday.It looks killer !!!

I am really excited to race this boat in F2 class soon with our new twin step bottom design.My Father and I dropped our cut down deck model over the hull today and it looks awesome.

I will post better pics. next week with a digital camera.

Here are a few pictures of our new F2 35 Survivor cut down model race boat we are building now.These pictures were taken with the deck laid over the hull to take measurements of the stringers and bulkheads.It is very difficult to see our new twin step bottom due to the black gelcoat.

The hull and deck will be bonded from the inside and outside with a no rubrail look.

It will look bad ass when completed.
