........how did things go with the new boat in Marathon? Did it perform like you expected it to? It looks good-

Phantom 1,the boat was great but you know if anything can go wrong,it will on a first time out.I think I have installed at least 200 throttle cables over the years and never had the first problem with one sticking,but this one did.The start of the pace lap dav goes to push it forward and its jammed and wont move,by the time they get it free thier half lap behind and the race hasent started yet.After that thier speed was great,GPS at 79 average 71 so watch out next time.Did have a rocker get loose and they pulled out in the 6 lap,no use taking a chance.I am happy with the Phantom thou and look for it to do a lot better next time out. Thanks Augie,Hope you and your family are good too.It really didnt make much difference ware we finished on that race,Dave an Ken needed the time in the boat and after a couple laps they had a good handle on it.Are you and the Boyz coming to Sarosota over the 4th ?I think we are but need to see a little more info before i make up my mind for sure. Hey Stern Lock,good to hear your still around.Everything is fine with us,but never ben able to beat that heart problem good enough to get back in a race boat,darn it.Dave an Jerri are building a new place and are tacking a couple years off and then intend to race the Phantom again.Hope alls well with you and your family.
