How about a get together at the Boathouse Restaurant at the Hyatt on Friday night? Who is going to be there for the race?

By the way..Will there be fire works shows there??

Actually, I received some e-mails from people saying that they want to get together. We'll plan something when it gets a little closer. My reservations are made........Sarasota has always been my favorite race site.

Sounds good to me. I have reservations at the Hyatt (7/3-4). This will be my first trip there so I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know the area so would you know if any special VIP areas for race viewing are available as were in Marathon.??

Cash Bar will be there. Staying at the Holiday Inn Marina Thurs.-Mon.

You know the Deep V Cats Team will be there in force. This is a big one so we will bring in sponsors, groupies and the AARP Precision Polka Dance Team.

Beer will be on us......................................... on our shirts and shoes as we tend to spill a lot. SQ

The lady Sarasota is usually the vip ship that takes you out to watch the race. I know that it has in the past sure it will be this year as well!

It will be an absolute blast. I look forward to shaking Big John's hand and thanking him for bringing the two premier offshore racing organizations together for a race at last!

Phantom1, The Jersey Boyz will be in the house. At last count 6 teams and their families will be making the trip plus a load of our friends so it should be a great weekend. We all should be there by Friday mid-morning so we'll see you guy's in the pits. We'll be with Bobby Oliver with the original FIREWATER APACHE Boat.
