Re: Sarasota Sunday
SARASOTA -- Members of the Sharkey family had arrived at Siesta Beach by 6 a.m. Sunday, setting up their blue canopy and American flag decorations long before breakfast.
And I thought I was there under cover..... :D :D :D |
Re: Sarasota Sunday
Mike, please have a safe trip driving back home today. Am planting the seeds of a North Carolina visit in August with "the Iron Maiden".
I also have a stop in South Carolina that I want to make. AND A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. Ron, great meeting you, should have mentioned that long before now, please excuse my rudeness. You have a new reader of your magazine. I particularly like the "non generic approach" you are taking with it. Congratulations on a job well done. Looking forward to next time. Russ |
Re: Sarasota Sunday
Just got back at it was awesome. Thank you SBI and APBA for putting on the best race I have been to in a looong time. Both sanctioning bodies worked together as one and we can't wait to do it again. The site of John Carbonell, Reggie, Bob Bull, and Pops together on stage in the drivers meeting was priceless. We had 19 boats in our start wich I can't remember anything like that since St Pete 2000. Thanks to everyone and it was nice meeting all of you I have never met before like Baja Daze, Formula Outlaw, Mark Mathews, Phantom1, just to name a few
Thanks to everyone |

Those V-12's sound very different, but cool, kind of like an Indy car. |
