I know it's only January but i'm already getting excited about Elizabeth City on April 28th. This is another GREAT town simular to Orange Beach and Tybee Island. It's been a few years since I was there and can't wait to go. I'm ready !!!! Dave Warden

Hey Dave,

I think a lot of guys are going to be suprised when they get there...you right its like Orange Beach....small town with people in the community that support events that come to town....I live close to there and we already have been promoting it in the Va. Beach area and have a large group of people going to be there....this will be a good kick off to a great season.

Hey Gino, I agree. We used to vacation there and Kitty Hawk every year when I was growing up. I always loved it there. I remember sliding down Jockey's Ridge on cardboard !!! They used to have some cool Hydro racing up there also. Dave

We were thinking about going but it on the SAME weekend as SBI Ft Lauderdale.

I seen that...was kinda hoping that wouldn't happend for this race since its almost in Reggies back yard and that the Fountains in SBI would show up..+ I think APBA are holding Kilo Records that weekend.

Why do they do this? Ft. Lauderdale will have over a half million people on the beach each day of the Air & Sea show.

I don't think it was done on purpose...I'm sure they were working with these citys on dates well before they both posted them. Would it be great if the 3 main Organizations would all have races that didn't conflict? Sure it would...But remember the Organizations are trying to get a long term relationship with these citys. Personaly I think Elizabeth City will be great race Site..and I have raced in Ft. Lauderdale which is another great site...All's we can hope for is that both race sites have a good turn out and maybe one day we will all race at both races sites together.

I have been to Elizabeth City it would be a great location, just wish we did not have to pick. Some day this will all come together, see ya later this year. Bill M
