Why won't my boat sell?
 

Looking for any input. I can't afford to drop the price much lower. I'm I missing something. Thanks for any input.

I really like the boat. Must have looked at the ad a hundred times. Wish it would sell so I could quit torturing myself.

OSO is not a great place to try to sell a boat.

super clean boat...i had a 22ft big blaock i had problems selling was a 92 and biggest problem was the age of the buyers looking at it didnt have the cash and couldnt get the credit..

Who knows, it's a great looking boat. Could be location. Superboat is not real well known to the average boater outside of the NY area. I get people asking me "who makes that boat?" all the time.

Bash noticed & pointed out several times that when your 24 was 4sale the first time by the other owner...it was 4sale forever also. Bash agrees...Location...Location...Location!!! Look at that 24Pantera thats been for sale out there somewhere. Its been 4sale for over a year now. Gotta get that baby to the EastCoast to move it....or give it away. Bash could never sell his 24...he'd lose way too much .

have you tried ebay?its gonna be a buyers market for boats this year with the price of gas.i sell alot on ebay and ive definately seen a drop off in boat stuff this year compared to last years sales,nice boat though,good luck

That's a nice set up!
If you really want it gone, how big of a hit can you take? Drop the price to what you can do. I'm facing that challenge, now. Anyone looking to buy my boat can get a 30'er for only a couple grand more, and the 30 is a whole different machine. I don't want to get whacked, so I'll keep it. After all, if you've got a great set up (like yours seems to be)...why sell?

I know what everyone means about location, I guess I just thought if someone really wanted this boat they would go get it. I drove 745 miles one way to buy it from Gary but I'm kinda weird that way. I might be willing to meet someone for the right selling price. Thanks for all the replies, I wish I could bring the boat out east and boat with some Superboat lovers
because the boat really is something special.

I have some questions........

Is the motor Mercruiser Marine or is it something built buy someone else?

Is it the original 96 motor?

How many hours are on the motor?

Are the photos representative of the current condition of the boat? The reason I ask is that they could have been taken years ago by the previous owner because the boat has NY registration numbers and the pics look like they are taken in different locations.

Do the seats drop down so you can stand and drive?

You live in IN and the boat came from NY is it a fresh or saltwater boat?

What kind of history about the boat?

Any damage?

It seams as if you did not own it for very long so why the quick sale?

Does it have a stereo?

Is there storage under the rear bench seat?

Does it have a single battery?

Has it had a survey?

Do you store it inside?

Is the trailer a 1996?

Does the trailer have surge or electric brakes?

What condition are the tires in?

Take cgarretts lead. I would rework you ad with a different lead photo, more precise description and juice it up and switch it up a bit and give it a new look... By the looks of it, you should have a lot to talk/brag about.
