The river won't crest until Thursday night so we will not have a beach to go to therefore no pizza . There are still trees in the river . I think they're still pulling trees of of the docks at the beach .

That being said ;
The river below Middletown clears out much faster so some of the guys (diehards) say they are going to launch at Haddam Meadows and hang out at the ramp anyway . I wouldn't use your "favorite" prop . You are welcome to join them . There will be a grill so bring some burgers or dogs if you'd like .

If anybody is still staying in a hotel and wants to get together for dinner on Friday evening please let me know .

Yes, Gary it sucks that mother nature has not been vary nice lately. I have not taken my boat out since October 4th. The CT river has been a complete mess... :( :( :(
I'am not going to complain too much though, we only lost about 2 weeks at the end of a Beautiful Summer... :cool:

However, there is a sizable group of "Die-hards" that are meeting this Saturday anyway. It may not be an 80+mile venture with 90 boats like last year, but it would seem like 10 to 20 maybe more will meet at the same time same place... :D :D :D
