The fastest 30 to date is Richie Zuls and its a 1987 Superboat and he will have it at the hot toddy run. :cool:

Zippys motor makes over 900. The bottom was modified to a Y2K. Its an old heavy boat but Ronnie at MRD keeps it looking like new. Remember Zul is the best motor man period. And yes it does have a number 5 drive even with the bottom.

It has no step in the bottom like a Y2K

Are you saying that the old non stepped 27 is faster then the new stepped version with a 2' intergrated swim platform, which is also 200 lbs lighter?? You say you have one that does 92 with a 525, and weights 5200 lbs. The new one (Blue) only weighed 5000 lbs, was fully dialed in with a shorty and herring prop. Angelo says it does 85 mph. Why is it 7 mph slower if it weighs less ??
