That's wierd the way the damage is a mirror of the other on the gears. Looks like the shaft bent or failed.

I sheared off a max worxx vert shaft last time it broke so the shafts and gears were new at the same time. I think one tooth starts to chip away then it starts to take out the one next to it. I started seeing metal on the magnets after 45 hours. Pure and simple the high load and torque tears these bravo based drives up when you start putting serious tq to them. My motor makes 850 ftlbs of tq from 3200 past 5600 and peaks at 960 plus ft lbs,my boat pushes thru the water like a brick,somethings going to give sooner or later.I started looking at these super boat singles about 6 weeks ago,they are intriguing,I wonder how fast one would go with my motor in it? I see low 90's in my 272 baja with my power,Smitty
