Got me, but if you look at the 29 activator for sale, they state the boat runs 85 w/ a 525.

And its hard to judge w/ races, cause that would depend alot on the driver. As opposed to finding a nice stretch of water and letting it go for a while.

Another yellow and black Sea Tow race boat would be cool. Hopefully you and Tommy will be able to do it. I went to school with Joe Jr at Maritime in the Bronx. The two of us have talked about racing for a while. But they are just way to busy at Sea Tow corporate to do anything else. Oh Well!

I think I remember JC Perf saying that the 27' Activator has run over 90mph with a "strong" 525...
But I doubt it during a race...
Also, someone earlier stated that Velocity holds the F1 speed record at 84 or so...

Jeff just built a small block for a new 27. Looks SWEEEET ! Pat I do remember velocity having the record but I dont remember the speed. As for a #6 on a Y2K. It works on the 32 activator but sucks power like a sponge.The merc cleavers would not be a good choice for a prop. Need a HERRING on that if you want the trim buton to actually do something. TITAN that sound like a great package, JC power and a Progresion 29 from KEVIN.
