Yep, an 18' Donzi can do it so long as your back can take it. I ran mine across the Sound and out to Block many times... :D
I had one, Krack had one, and I think Oh-zone had one. Truely one of the all time clasics... :drink:
Crazy George takes it to a whole other level though, I know you would not catch me in his boat... :eek:

The boyz over at MRD have put together some new and crazy activators . I think the orange one ran 115. I havent heard of anything faster lately.

Herb from Intimidator Boats has a 21 (same exact boat as a 21 superboat he builds it from the Shadow molds) runs 106mph + with a single 300 merc outboard... I'm hopin mmy 21 Superboat should run close to 100mph when im done with it and be setup for rough water :drink:

Pat I would never knock a Donzi, ever. But I much question ANY 18' boat in 3'-4' waves passing a 24' Superboat let alone a Y2K.

I hear you Gary, you have to have seen it to believe it. George is the sickest boat driver I have ever met.
During Superfest 2004, we ran from Greenport over to Sag Harbor in 3ft waves with a lot of boat wakes thrown in.
(2) 24' Supers, (3) 30' Y2Ks, (3) 29' Fountains, and Crazy George, ran just about wide open the whole way. George went by ALL of us shooting a 100' rooster tail. Jcap said to me, "I saw 88 on my speedo when he pasted me."
Lets just say that when we got to Sag, the fellow that was riding with George, jump in the water and swam over to Sean Dutra's boat.

Pat I would never doubt you. But I know one thing for sure I know that is downright DANGEROUS............AND WHY ???? There is a point when a hull execceds its limits, and that boat was over at 50 mph at best in that water. Now on a lake with not even a ripple sure. Just my 2 cents.

Why? Maybe because it's DANGEROUS?
I will say that the other times I have run with George, he has been solo. Also, he wears a helmet, off-shore life vest, and believe it or not, I think a parachute... :eek:

So back to the question, What is the fastest "off-shore" V bottom?
