I hear you Rick, but I don't see it happening with a mild mannered naturally aspirated SB.
450HP out of a 383cube or you need a high $$ custom block.
I would guess twin 450s would have the boat running along side of Faster.

If the new vettes are putting out 500+ with all the emission junk and detuning for 87 octane, then I can see 500hp as doable.... hell maybe 2 Z06 LS2's will be the ticket. I think they are aluminum blocks too. ;)

The stock 400HP/6.0L Vette engine is an all aluminum version of the 6.0L Truck & Marine engine.
So I would think it would not be too big a deal to marinize either the 6.0 or 7.0 Vette engine. I think they may even be available from GM Performance parts???
