Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
Tom you think its more the set up or the suspension system they use? I have allways had torsion axles in my trailers and never a ride complaint?
|
Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
I think it's a combo of the trailer flex due to design and boat positioning.
|
Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
I beliebe it is due to the limited suspension travel myself being not as smooth as the torsion though I find mine not terrible. All alum trailers flex. Tom, I would check your forward bunks to be sure your getting the propper support there and you are not creating a spring board effect. I had rolls axel send me some extra spacers and pucks to raise and pitch the forward bunk (as well as the front section of the rear bunks)for more support foreward.

Rob,
Here is what your looking for. This is my Superboat measurements. |
Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
Thanks Tom
How deep is the oil pan your using now? The one spec'd out for the moment is 10". Wonder if Rick moved the step in question on your drawing forward, back, or same. LOL |
Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
My pan just sits above the notch. Is your blower gonna fit?
|
Re: Rob, Huntington Beach !!
The Steps Are Too Deep For The Pan To Be A Problem. Now The Notch Is Another Issue. 10 Inch Pan Is Only 1 Inch Deeper Than The Stock 500 Pan. Thats Just My Opinion.
