I have a set of 1.8 ratio roller rockers to replace the stock 1.7 stamped steel rockers. This would give about 0.030" more lift from the vary mild mag cam shaft and reduce friction.

The GPS I have seems to be vary slow to get to top speed and you have to run in a straight line. The speedo gets to 83 84 and stay there through turns. I think a GPS Speedo would work a lot better.
I'm actually running with a Merc MPI system and Volvo Penta accessories. I'll be switching to the Volvo/AZ Speed MPI when I build my next engine or build up this one... :D

best i saw on my gps was 74.6.
last yr my speedo tube was not in place, so it didnt work.
But the new owner of my boat hooked back up and w/ 3 on board w/ 1/2 tank was seeing 78+. who knows.

HELLO, BOYS, it's been a while, I've been here & there. I was boating on Sat. in the Hudson River on a fassssst Skater, a friend's boat. I got the "Boat Bug" again, & i have not forgotten about the Y2K. So, who is going to give me a ride?? :D
