Y2k ?
Hey Superboat guys and gals,
Can you please post pics of your Y2K's for me. I really like what I've seen so far and it's on my short list of possible next boat. Do you guys have any idea of what the build time might be? Any help appreciated. Thanks Angel |
Re: Y2k ?
I dont own one :( but i can tell you any superboat is a great very well built boat!!! The Y2K is a very nice ride with any power!!!! It is the slickest boat out there!! FX10 builds them. Talk to him for tech. stuff.

Re: Y2k ?
Yea it seems really nice and I'm thinking of a SBC with 400-425hp would be just right to stay dependable but still have some fun.

Re: Y2k ?
Pantera 24, it's all been said before, but YOU WILL LOVE THE Y2K!!!! Strong, lite, fast, great looking, sleek, head turner, and on and on !!!!! Put the 496 HO in run mid 70's 6 year warranty, good amount of options 70-75 K, and a brand new boat !!!!!! And the hands on builder, Rick ( FX-10 ) just happends to be one of the most TALENTED and SINCERE guys in the Industry................Gary

Re: Y2k ?
Angel, Jo is not going to like hearing this talk...
This boat is heading your way... http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=118172 I think large single engine boats will run better with the torque of a big block vs a small block. A 30' Super will top out at 68mph with the 375HP/496 and 72mph with a 425HP/496. 8-10mph faster than a 28' Pantera with the same power... :drink: |
Re: Y2k ?
Hey Pat,
Not trying to stir anything up. Jo makes an AWESOME boat to say the least. Trust me I've owned 3 of them... But I must say that the Y2K just has my attention. I'm probably going to be up in NewYork in about a month and I'm thinking of seeing if I can stop by Superboats and checking out the Y2K. |

I did like my 24' Pantera and probably would not have sold it if it had more of a cabin. Panteras are vary nice boats. I have run with T-Mone and Fullthrottle525 most recently. Those two boats are awesome. Now if you are looking to buy a new boat, there is not a better value on the market than a 30' Super. :drink: |
