Gary,
Hopefully I'm getting the hull mold in the shop next week. This one is for sale. If I don't sell it, I'll rig it with the 15 Johnson I have and let the girls use it. They have no experience boating aside from coming with me in my boat. And I think 30 MPH is fast enough till they learn how to drive a boat. The hull will be yellow, with a black tapering strip and a checkered flag pattern in the rear of the gelcoat.

Rick, the more I think about your FX-10 boats, the more memories it brings back of romping up and down the Hudson River as a 14 yr old kid. I'm starting to think about getting one to do some "bay bombing" with it. My 19 yr old daughter woul get a kick out of it!! What HP is neededd to get her to 50-60 mph??? Can you do one in "platinum"??? :D :D :D

FX10 03-24-2007 07:06 PM

Gary,
I can make it any color, or scheme you want. As for going 50 MPH. A 40 HP is all you need to do over 50, a 25 pushes it 40MPH with 2 200+ lb. adults. I have 2 buddies with them. Both have the older 3 cylinder 70HP mercs on them. both do around 70. They love to eat Jet Ski's.

Rick, check your voicemail, I left you a e-m address for someone that is looking for more info. on this boat... He seems totally into it, he had a invader when he was younger and may want to replace it for his kids...

Rick, I hear your Racing John's former Blue/Yellow boat this year any truth to that? Do tell.

FX10 03-28-2007 09:30 PM

Yeah it''s true Eddy. Don (DonY2K) and I will be racing his Y2K this season.

fastedy 03-30-2007 04:50 AM

Glad to hear it, let me know if their's any thing I can do to help, what class do you plan to Race, that boat still running a blower?

FX10 03-30-2007 04:23 PM

We'll be running the class over you. And yes, it still has a blower. Don's going to have Jeff (J C Performance) detune it alittle for the class.
As of yesturday, reservations are made for the room in Ocean City.
