I think so, I remember JC saying he had the buckets installed at Superboat, and also brought the stand up bolsters.

I called him last year and asked if he wanted to sell, he said NO WAY. I guess he changed his mind.

Is this the one that runs 80 MPH? :evilb:

I talked with him in Ocean City this year. He says it's an 80 MPH boat.

If the boat has a Merc Speedo, I don't doubt it reads 80mph.
Mine reads 80mph when the GPS is reading 72...
Add some CMI headers and it might do 85mph...

I do remember seeing pictures of this boat during the Superbabi build. It is a real nice boat with some nice options ie. full hydraulic steering. Personally I think an all white boat is a great way to go with the vinyl graphics available these days.

75K does sound a little steep considering the boys at Superboat would build you a new one for about that. At 60K, it would be a good deal IMHO...

I know.......But, I think my wife has had enough speed and flight time. :D

She keeps mentioning that terrible cruiser word. I'd rather cut my NUTS off!

I think she would be open to a larger performance boat though. She demands to be on the demo ride of our "next" boat. She said she wants it to be on the roughest day possible too. When we went to look at Eddie's boat she did seem to like it. The size difference over the 24 is HUGE.

Hey Gary,
If my memory serves me correctly, JC told me he took you for a ride in that boat. And you told him the Y2K was boring at 72mph and that is why you spent the big $$ for a 600SCi... :evilb:

Pat we did take a quick ride on the boat, the first Y2K with the new rear engine hatch. Your memory is pretty sharp, I do remember saying to JC the Y2K can for sure run with some big power. The Y2K really becomes fun in the chop at 80 plus !!!!
