Boat at the shop getting a few last nails hammered in
JC is back and barking orders BOAT NEEDS GAS GO GET SOME if anyone thought JC could get grouchy try him being in pain with a neck brace on...
Launched boat today with only a few hitches like getting the trailer stuck over the end ledge at the boat ramp and JC had to get a buddy of his to lift it with a tow truck and of course Rick had to get in the water to attach the hook to the trailer... By the way is the plug in??? Dont worry JC I'll jump into the bilge and cork the hole
Home at last...

Good luck with the boat !! We can weight for the speed numbers . Break the motor in properly. Unless they come from merc already broken in ?
Great seeing it at home John. Kelly and I want to know when do we get a ride??
Zuperboat - JC recommended about 3hrs of use before bringing to top rpm... nolimits you and Kelly are welcome anytime, maybe even run to a waterfront establishment with liquid refreshments and seafood snacks???
She's a beauty... Congrat's. Gonna show this to the queen , maybe i'll get a green light sooner.

Another awesome build. Nicely done Rick..Enjoy and be safe John...
rory2010 to be good with the Queen you must show how it will benifit her... Storm rider and oh-zone thanxs again...new completed boat pictures will be on the way... JC has put in temporary the all white bucket seats while the new custom bucket seats are being finished in white with blue inserts and superboat logos embroidered on back rests...

The whole boat looks well thought out. I'm sure its a great feeling watching it go from an idea in your mind.....to a hot set up in you back yard. Did you consider using carpet in the cabin?
Yes CMC, JC hates carpet but I am thinking about getting removable carpets for cockpit and cabin... Cabin walls and ceiling are staying gelcoat... JC is correct in saving on wieght and keeping mildew free... The way the interior is now I could hose it down scrub it and the water would drain directly to the stearn drainplug and out of the boat...
Thats a great point. Then you dont have to worry about stains

Well Done!!!!!!!! Good Luck With Her...:drink:
Vary clean and simple. I don't under stand why most manufacturers add all kinds of crap that is totally unnecessary... No carpet required... |
The unnecessary crap is for the ladies, they are nesters and sometimes the whipped guys out there have to settle for what they like.... I paid a lot of money for my freedom so I can finnally not have carpet!!! Its great being single

john

Fire Island Jim anchored out and kayaked in... I only spend $$$ for docking when I have quests... Pretty rough last night the wind was blowing over 20mph out of the North... But the three blond 23 year old ladies I meet made for a very entertaining evening and it was definatly worth it... No call from them yet :(
Saw the boat in person. Wow!! Smoking clean, rigging was top notch, glass was clean..... It would make me happy!! Lot's-a-luck!!
