1992 30' CORSA Like superboat nice hull 4-sale
 

I thought this hull looked like a 30' Superboat - it's forsale locally. It has a newer Bravo Mercruiser outdrive only needs power. Very clean and I think it looks like the older 30' Super's

Looks like a Superboat on steroids . Too heavy for a single and bravo. Probably a great boat if you want to go 55 !!

I viewed the boat today, I was very suprised at how clean it was I am going to trhow my hat in the ring and bid. Think of it this way: (buy a 502 bbc with either a supercharge or blower power plant, or a 598ci tall deck be easy on the drive and you have a mid 90's Superboat look alike that should do low 80 MPH) My estimate the Corsa boat is worth $6500, pay that put a $15K or $20 motor in it and your total investiment is $20K to $30K must cheaper than any used 90's super with a single that has been beat up on,and you pass most chumps ot there. (( Why pay $50,000 $59,000 or more for a used Super with a Y2k bottom ? )) I would rather built a $20K blower motor or crate 598 tall deck with 650hp for $12K out of a catalog, buy the hull for $6500 and have little bit bigger superboat, with a wider beam and know the motor from new you agree ?

I think the real question here is, how much do you want to spend on a new to you boat ???

New to me is the heart of the boat: Give me a fair hull and a brand new power plant and I have piece of mind. I will at least know how the motor will be cared for Oil, Flush, time,maintaince, RPM, RPM at high rev's,etc. If you buy a used power boat you will never know how someone cared for the motor and drive they can say anything they want.... New motor and drive is key to long happyness with a boat.

To bad you can't find a Y2K without the motor.:D

That boat will probably sell for my guess ia around 10-12k on ebay. A 598 with exhaust for under 20k would be a real deal ! Should make 800hp. That boat with 800hp mite go upper 70,s if your lucky. And with a used bravo maybe once ! Look at the water line of the bottom paint in the picture. Very nose heavy. That boat needs twins. Ive heard the boat is clean and will make somebody happy just dont expect to go fast ! Unless your idea of fast is 65 !!

I went back to view the boat a second time, I like the design and profile. Owner said make him and offer I may go back with a $6500 offer and see what happens. He is hot to sell, he stated he bought a 38 topgun and needs the room asap. Anyone know this boat ?
