i think the platform works nicely w/ the decklines.
w/o it the boat would look as if the back were cut off. but i too like to see all the hardware on the back of the boat when lookin... nice extension box, or exhuasts and tabs... |

I think at idle speeds the swimplatform carries the lines the best. :D

anyone have pics of the Y2K with outboards with no platform, it was a cool looking boat, and what ever happen to the one with twin smallblocks, how fast did it run.
From what I heard, the twin outboard Y2K ran in the low 90's. As far as the swim platform. It's pretty much standard on all the Y2K's. |

p727lws, are you talking I/O or Outboard ????
I'm in a 22' Donzi Classic now and I'm thining about something in the 28'-30' range. 28 Pantera's and Y2K's are at the top of the list. I'd stay in the Donzi line but they don't have a model larger than the 22 Classic with out a platform untill you get to the 38 ZR Competition and that's not in the budget anytime soon. It would be cool to go from a 22 footer w/ a 7' beam to a 30 footer w/ a 7' beam. Dan |
Check out the 26 or the 28 Joker
