21' Superboat with Jet
 

I just found a 1979 21' Superboat with a 460 and a Berkeley Jet for sale. I am interested how well does a deep-V hull perform with a jet? Was this a conversion from an outdrive or factory? Here are some pics. I would appreciate all fedback and advice. Thanks, rv-customs:confused:

That boat was f-sale on craigs list towards the end of the winter.

It's back on craigslist. I'm just wondering if I should keep my distance from it, or would it perform ok?

i have never seen a 21 with a jet before but i know there are a few 24s around with jets....

my uncle had a 21 sutphen with a jet a few years back and it handled great and was a blast to drive....get someone to look over the boat real well and if it checks ot go for it....

As far as i know John never made a boat with the steering on the port side. I would call John and ask him about it.

An old jet drive here in the great south bay means 1 thing. bring you scuba gear. The seaweed is bad this year !
