Thanks Storm Boat is from Buffalo.Guy bought it 15 years ago and wanted to convert it to a sbc.never really started.has been sitting indoors for the past 15 years.:cool:

Back In 1977-79 The Suffolk County Police Had One With Twin Merc 150 Xs .came Out Of Port Jeff.think It Ran In The Upper 70s Which Was Fast Back Then.pretty Cool To Watch As A Kid Back Then.

Johnny, whats up with the transom. It looks like it's hollowed out on top?

The transom balsa is so rotted you can pull it out with your finger.Im going to replace it with marine plywood. Should be stronger.

Sounds like a long winter project.

Ill be happy if its done by October.Id like to run it in the Lake George PR and then maybe try and make Jerry Fest...maybe.:rolleyes::D

They stil have it. Its one of three. They pulled me over (for no reggie sticker) with one during Safe Boating Week 2004 when I took possession of my freshly built 24SB. (It's now rigged with a reg. 200.) It also had a 250EFi but they didnt like the fuel efficiency after talking with the officers.
