Teague Platinum we ran them behind 1000 HP + with no failures ,tried it with IMCO S/C and never had one last more then 3 hours

Depends on how you drive it Gary.We had a customer with a 25 Cat with a stock B1 with 800HP in front of it.Never had one failure.Id stick with an XR.Imco,Konbrad,Teague they are all marginally better than an XR but not worth the money IMO.The only drive you will never break is a 6

There all going to blow so pick the cheapest one. I'd say go with Teague. We did really only blow one behind 700's.

Like he said Garry. If I remember correctly in 05 Merc updated the XR. Since then they have been very reliable. If you want some kind of warranty then go with Teague XR. But for the extra money you could fix a broken stock XR.
JUST DO IT!

Whats up with the BMax drives, they look pretty strong, rated to 925 HP.

TeamSaris 11-13-2007 06:05 AM

We have a custopmer with a B-Max behind 1200 HP in a 25 Checkmate.He keeps losing lowers.
