Mine is still sitting on the lift with a semi-custom cover that I bought for about $250.00. It is for a wider boat, so it comes down and covers the hull sides almost completely. Works great!

jayhawk, could you post a photo !!! Thanks Gary

jayhawk261 12-11-2007 03:17 PM

I don't have any with the cover on her I don't think. It's too far away in this nasty weather to get some too. I'll try to remember to take some with the cover on next time we make it out there and I'll post them.

I've got one of those that I used on my 24 Super during the summer months. $100 if someone wants it...

jayhawk261 12-11-2007 03:29 PM

The boat is at Grand Lake. It is about an hour and 15 minute drive. We don't all have the luxury of tripping over the back door threshold and falling into the boat!:D

Paul, the cover is a custom cover made just for the Y2K. Cover was made here in Toms River N.J. If you like PM me and I will give you all the info. Gary:D

FX10 12-16-2007 07:18 PM

Nice cover Gary. I like how it goes around the trim tabs. Reminds me of feety pajamas. Does it have a back door sewn in ? LOL

G...
great fitting cover, how's it hold up under snow pressure?
i'd like more info, too.
Thanks.
C
btw...shouldn't you have that thing on some sort of bunks to preserve the hull?

Thanks Christian, it has not snowed down the shore at this point, however I was looking at one of the cover makers work at a boat yard last year. There was no snow load problem, this cover fits like a drum skin ( very tight ) the snow pretty much falls off, in the cockpit there are adjustable poles so you can get the cover very tight, also you can tighten the cover from the bottom loops with the cord. As for bunks for out of water storage, no need if the boat is properly set up on the blocks and stands. :D
