I have alot to think about first.
The deck is now complete. Glassed on the forward bulkhead. It's now ready to pull out of the mold.

The 32CC couldn't have come at a better time. I am changing my boating needs as my kids are getting older. In the past a 5 seater is good enough, but today my two boys want to do more than just jump waves and beach the boat to hang out on the beach. They now want to explore, fish, sleep in the boat much like camping. Plus with the additional gas that the 32CC will be providing you can go further. I am planning on a Bahamas trip myself. The longest leg is 143 miles from Bimini to Atlantis/Paradise Island.

FX10 01-29-2008 08:27 PM

Noli. The Y2K full deck is 32'4" with the swim platform. Bot without it, it's only 30'. I'm sure a dodger could be made for the bow area also, for those camp out night nights, or to get out of tthe weather. A T-top is also going to be an option.

Jc is kinda nervous about putting two 300 Verados on the 30CC, any idea why?

FX10 01-30-2008 05:01 AM

He shouldn't be. Instead of the industry standard transom, whick is 2 plys of 3/4" ply glassed together. These CC'c are 3 plys of 3/4". With 7 plys os glass under and over it. Plenty strong. And Noli, this is a CC- fishing boat. Twin 300's is alittle overkill in my opinion. D0 you need to go 100 ?? Twin 200's or 225's would be more then sufficient.

noli 01-30-2008 05:07 AM

Rick, what would be the cost of the 34CC hull only?

FX10 01-30-2008 05:18 AM

Noli, you'll need to call John about that. I don't know that off the top of my head.

noli 01-30-2008 05:45 AM

Nice options

A Sunbrella dodger with a matching T-top would look awesome!

Thanks, I'll give Jc a call...or better yet I'll stop by to see you guys. What's the latest news on the 34CC ?

FX10 01-30-2008 06:11 AM

The deck plug is 90+ - percent done. Just have to apply the non skid to it, before making the mold.

noli 01-30-2008 07:05 AM

Wow, I didn't know you are that close. Nice!

Pat McPherson 01-30-2008 07:25 PM

When is the special FX edition 30Y2K2CC with stabbing cabin going to be built?

FX10 02-05-2008 05:54 AM

I'm still in a holding pattern. If these keep taking off like they seem to be. It might be awhile Pat.

FX10 02-25-2008 04:04 PM

Tank will be foamed in tomorrow.

Thanks Joe. I like to let my customers, and the public see the quality craftmanship that goes into building these Superboats.

Now that the fuel tank and Battery box are glassed in. It's time to mock up a interior liner for the forward storage area. There will be a shelf for the life jacket bag. And two side compartments that hold 4 8" bumpers, plus an anchor. Once this plug is finished, it's time for another mold.
