No rain on Sunday; I already put in an order for nice weather.

Thats the same date as the Tri-State Poker Run out of Old Saybrook so your going to see alot of nice hardware going by. We will be at Claudios on Sunday though along with some of the boats from the poker run.

z.zuperboat 07-11-2008 05:58 AM

Tripps better not be checking the trailer on friday night.
This is the first time im hearing about the run out of old saybrook. If I had known maybe my plans would have been different. The boats not up to snuff yet but coming along.

Hey CU, How are things?

Well, I'm getting a real late start at boating this year after doing lots of work to our house this spring. And, now the issues with the EFI system on my engine are slowing me up too.
I think I like the new boat, but I've only run it 3 times. It is a lot bigger and seems more solid than my last boat. Time will tell if the new boat is right for us.
With gas approaching $5 who knows how much we'll venture out of the River into the Sound and Ocean. If we just hang in the River, I may go back to a smaller boat.

cuposterchild 07-22-2008 01:36 PM

Yeah I hear ya on the gas thing....having to plunk down for 93 has me thinking about getting rid of mine but might have to just wait this market out. Hope you get everything sorted out on the new ride and let me know if you need any help with anything.

prosno 07-22-2008 01:47 PM

I'll be taking the boat out for the first time this weekend so I'll probably be there

z.zuperboat 07-24-2008 06:58 AM
