Not a bad deal, I paid $32,500 for my 1999 24' in 1999. With a 350/300 hp

K-WELLS 12-04-2008 09:02 AM

is this boat completed already?????

I know that my 2000 24' sold for $52k new in 2000 with a 454 MAG MPI. How'd the 99 go for so cheap? The new one is REALLY cheap too. If that is what they sell for now, I'm going to own mine until I die!

And make it 2 feet longer !!

z.zuperboat 12-05-2008 06:54 AM

It would be 2 feet longer with the new deck. But only on the top. I think John would make one if someone put some money in his hand.

Anyone know how may 24's(inboard and outboard) and how many 30's(inboard and outboard) have been produced to date

z.zuperboat 12-05-2008 01:16 PM

Back in late 02 or early 03, JMK406 paid 40K for JC's Demo 24' with a 6.2L small block, Bravo, and K-planes.
That boat is/was for sale at Ocean Performance in Old Saybrook, CT last I knew.

I guess with the tough economy and lower oil prices, new boats have come back to the prices they were 4-5 years ago.

Kevin, it's not made yet. We're about to start building it.

Mike, Coen just layed out a small fortune to make the plug and mold for the new 30 CC deck. I don't think he'll make a new deck. It would look sharp though.
Now he has me making the plug for the new console for the 30CC. Just finished the wetsanding today.

The price of oil will only help the price of gas. I realy dont think it will trickle dont as fast is it rose. Some expert said last night that fuel should be around a buck soon. Has nothing to do with the cost of producing and shipping its the stock market that raped us this past year.
