I don't know what kind of project you are looking for, but I would sell my 26 ft. Nova II without power.

Sorry should have been more specific....looking for a 30 for Class 5 racing. Prefer a lighter build and somewhat cheap as racing will surely beat on it. The Y2K is the preferred style but probably too costly.

Just looking at all my options before I change the setup on my phantom from pleasure to more of a race setup (sit-down, dual throttle, etc). Not to mention this boat is a tank and while its a great rough water boat I would need something lighter to be competitive.

fantastixvoyage, not sure what your pocket book can afford, but give John Coen at Superboat a call. I do believe the unrigged Y2K he has in stock is the lite race layup.

The price tag on that hull including interior was 38K last year; probably a little less now that it has been sitting...

Last winter I decided I was going to go racing with my 30. Never seemed to find the time. After all the tragic thing that happened last season im quite happy that I never did get to race. It doesnt look dangerous from the sidelines. It looks like fun. In fact the sport is very dangerous and I give anybody who actually does race alot of credit. Good luck with your search.
