Any idea of what the weight is on this set up?

Lots of good deals on boats these days.
Boy, I wish I waited until this year before diving back into this sport.
I blame Zuperboat...
As for a twin Y2K, I'm with Dave.
Sure twin 406s would make it run like the wind, but tough to work on.
I had a 28' Cig with twin SB and could not get my hands between the egines to change the plugs. That boat was 7'10" wide with the engines on a 36" center line.
I have also put my head in a few 29' Scarrab with twins.

My wife's cousin lives accross the way from this boat so maybe Anthony could help with info.

Happy Boating Superboaters!
Later,

Who needs to change plugs anyway!:evilb: It is definitely a tight fit. I don't know why I'm worrying about it anyway. Unless they'll trade me straight up for my 24 I'm not in the mix. My business has fallen off to almost nothing. I'm actually going to have to go back to work for someone else. No more self employed for now.

I'm sorry to hear about your business. I hope it rebounds and you have your best year ever. If it doesn't, I hope you and your loved ones have a healthy time. That is what is the most important, right?

Thanks for the words Frank! We're still alive and well, so everything else is secondary from there. I have no doubt the work will come back, it is just a matter of how long. The banks won't loan money for new construction, and me being an Engineering consultant gets washed out downstream due to new construction being almost halted. Fingers crossed the ship will right itself, but it's going to be a while.

I would have the twin small block boat in a minute. Wouldn't it be nice to have the Y2K that was easy to back into a slip ( I STILL have trouble with my 24 single if the wind isn't right!).

From what I remenber. This boat sold for 110 k. What a steal at 45 K, plus it comes with a trailer !

Ive seen the boat in a couple runs. Its plenty fast with 2 motors that really dont make any power. Im sure the motors are close and hard to work on but worth the effort. So changing plugs take 40 minutes instead of 20 so what. Its a great boat at a great price.

IMO, this is the easiest way to get a 100mph y2k.
Just replace the current power w/ a pair of Raylar550s.
You'd be under 100k.
