Its a worked stock displacement 454 that made 499.8hp at 5700rpm, 502ft.lbs at 4700-4800 when it was put toghether. Its backed up with a bravo drive spinning a 25p Mirage plus. I have a standard non-plus 25p mirage to try next year as well.

The original owner of your boat is a fellow from the Albany NY area. His name is Gary and he now owns a 30'SB and post on OSO from time to time. I almost bought your boat when Gary had it for sale back in 2003-2004.
After he had the engine built the boat went from running around 72 to running around 82. I believe he ran the original 25p Mirage that came with the boat from the factory.

Yeah Pat, Gary is mostly the reason I ended up bying this boat... I've talked to him quite a bit, hell of a good guy! I've seen photos of his 30, thats a sweet boat!

On the SB website under the 21 Legend, there is a 21 w/502 Blackhawk that claims 96 MPH! :eek:

Yeah, this one had the blackhawk on it originally, also. I know that at least two were made this way... the one on Long Island and this one. First owner of this boat lived in CT (I'm the third). It has a bravo on it now and ran 78gps at tahoe (6500ft):grinser010:
