|
So im thinking 2small blocks 383'400'454's putting out 550-600 hp per side on xr drives. should get the new bottom well over 100 !!!

Gary,
The setup you have now is about as good as it gets in a Y2k. You know the boat in and out and it's best setup with a single. If you want to go real fast buy/build a 32-36ft twin engine CAT. |
I wonder how many orders JC would need to build a new and or strech the y2k for a big block twin.:party-smiley-004:

I was thinking side by side 600's
That Y2K with the twin 6.2s used to be kept on a canal close to my wife's cousin on the south shore. That boat sits real low in the water. |
I wonder how a short stagger would work ???

Gary, if you want a 100+mph Y2K, swap your drive for a Konrad or a Speedmaster and bolt on a blower... Boating season must be over now that the wild dreams are spilling out...:lolhit: |

That would be Garys dream boat. A 36' Y2K with staggered 496 HO's. Definate hundred + mile an hour boat. If we made one, Gary would order it tomorrow. And just think, that speed with 6 year warrantys!!

Rick, that would be the best looking V on the market, The 36' Y2K !!! Perhaps a pair of 600 efi's !!!
|
I think that a 36 would sell. Seems like the market is not bad in the higher end 100+MPH boats.
