My wife and I have been using the 24 like a cottage all summer... It's been a blast.

I'm new here, and I know this is an old thread, but I thought maybe ndaniels will see it. I just bought this Superboat in Sept. Took it to a Hotboat meet here in Mi, and it wouldn't start. Had the starter replaced, and had it winterized at the same time, so I've never driven it. I did ride in it before I bought it. This is a stock BBC 454 Bravo drive all stock that came with a Bravo 23" pitch prop, and I'm looking for advice on a top end prop. I'm just sold my Mirage tunnel hull, so I'm not trying to have the fastest boat on the lake. I'd just think the 23 is a little smaller than it can handle. Also not sure what style of prop is best, since this is a fairly light boat for the size, and seems to have a little higher x dimension than a lot of I/Os.

1997 I don't have many pics. I think I'm going to like it. Little more freeboard than we're use to, and I've got young granddaughters.

Thanks Toby! If you see this post, I need to know what oil you used? Had a starter put on it, and needs a hose in the drive replaced next spring. I'm still REALLY happy with the boat, and had to find someplace to show it off.

Wow! Nice boat. You should be able to turn more than a 23P with a 454. I was running a 26P bravo on my 24 w/385HP and a 28P bravo after I went to 425HP. I'd think about adding hydraulic steering.

Thanks. I figured maybe a 25P. Any suggestions on style of prop? Hydraulic steering, and maybe aftermarket exhaust manifolds next summer maybe.

I don't know a lot about the 21, but a bravo ran great on my 24. It chine walked all over with a Mirage+.

I wish I knew what prop they were running on this.
