I heard it was the weekend of june 12th. And being its Superboats 40th year it was being covered by Freeze Frame with the heli !! How much do we need to cover the cost of that ? Not open to the public Superboats only. Also heard Reggie Fountain was bartending. I had to start something the winters been to long and cold .

Z- I think some of your facts are wrong, here is what I heard:

#1- Frank and Dicks will be renamed "Another Day In Paradise- Sponsored by Superboat" for the weekend

#2- Its not Freeze Frame shooting, but rather, Google Earth will be 'retasking' all its satellites and shooting it live from Space!

#3- Reggie will be there, he is sponsoring the "Gold Chain Sprint" portion of the day- a half mile drag race event were the winner gets a Gold Chain from the man himself. I heard it comes with a certificate confirming its his, and has been worn in the "Cat Killer".

#4-Progression owners have agreed to put Superboat stickers on their boats for one day as a show of support to the LI boat building community:evilb:

#5- It will be 'kid friendly', every kid gets a Superboat balloon and a shirt autgraphed by Superboat Bob!

#6- Rick will be doing the 'Enduro 16' SB build'- a complete 16 foot Superboat will be built in 24 hours!

All kidding aside, it would be alot of fun to get something together...40 years is a long time, worthy event to celebrate!

Always loved Reggies gold kind of like a Mr T starter set. Just in Chip Foose will be working side by side with Rick on that 24hr rebuild.

Nice...I am hearing rumors that the person who shows up with the oldest Superboat will win an all expense paid night at The Kismett Inn
