21' Open Bow?

I've seen the Millenium, but I'm talking about a walk through, open bow configuration. Has one of these ever been done?

I realize it's somewhat contrary to the intended use of a 21, but when moored in a cove, or crusing, having the added room to spread out is nice.

If it has never been done, what do you think the added weight (assume a Coosa-based frame for the seating) would do to the handling of a 21 legend with a 280? Could you add more setback to ballance it out?

Judging from the lack of responses, I'll take it there hasn't been one done. So let me ask this another way, aesthetics and being pure to the form aside, what would 250lbs in front of the dash do to a late 80s Superboat 21 from a handling perspective?

I typically won't be carrying passengers up front when underway, and the boat will be equipped with either a 280 or 300.

I'm interested in the Superboat variants for their rough water capability which I hope would equate to a softer ride in not-so-rough water for my wife and kids. If the boat will still function in that capacity with an open bow with a narrow walk trough I'd be happy. If it would work, any guesses on speed with a fabric cockpit cover over the open bow?

Thanks in advance for any input.
