fastbagger09 08-30-2012 08:58 PM

Superboat 24

hmmm.....?
1st, try to get J.C to even build a new 24 .
Go price a new 250 XS w/ smartcraft gauge package $$$
[w/ a 5 YEAR wtty]
and a 2011 Alum trailer
I know the boat , It looks like a 2005 or newer boat ! [not many aroundin like new condition]
Sure you can buy a descent 24 w/ a old /rebuilt 2.5/3.0 Merc. for less [but it's no comparison] fuel efficiency ,reliability, and speed in the new motors are awesome. Not trying to bash older motors by no means [ I too love the simplicity of older motors] What I am saying is this is as close as you get to a NEW 24 with a Brand new motor/trailer fully rigged {with a 5yr. MERCURY warranty]. If you were able to convince John C. , the owner of Superboat to build you one ,instead of a
Y2K . { Y2K's are awesome}, but not everyone wants to trailer/store a 30' boat . I bet it would be around $70K+ for a new 24 package , right Rick?

OCCJoe 08-30-2012 09:18 PM

Damn Rick ! you just got a Superboat lessen !
It is a beautiful boat but the problem is you can get so much more for 30K these days !

Yes, it is! He also goes by the name Fastglas on S&F. Not sure why he keeps hiding behind multiple screen names.
Sean sold his, newer, step bottom and a 300PM for $18,500.

02cool 10-25-2012 05:22 PM

!!!!

Looks like a clean 24 Superboat in Florida with a big block, and for $19,500. It will certainly be more in your budget in what you can spend {sportimel }and your other screen name { tux974 on S&F.} Not sure why you hide your idenity with multiple screen names? Good luck.

:blahblah: Must of hit a nerve!

I do not find the need to hide behind names and if you need to know just ask!
FYI, Tux has been my name on S&F from day one and Sportimetl on here. Never changed names and always post under those names.

BTW, How many names do you have on here now? Why lie when you are asked a question?

Tony

Two things...

#1 Sportimetl/Tux/Tony......he is good people, one of the more helpful you will find on the board

#2 A little birdy told me this boat has been sold....if my info is correct, the new owner will be a welcome addition to these boards

If anyone knows any newer 24s for sale, let us know. I miss the shi# out of mine. Its really a tuff balance between a 24X7 center console or the race deck

Yes, the boat has been sold. I bought it! I had been looking around for a clean SB for roughly a year now. A friend of mine, Sean, helped tremendously with the long search. He has a really sweet CC 30ft Superboat with twin 300XS... That boat inspired me to buy a Superboat haha.

This 24' is a mint boat. Took it out on the Great South Bay on Sunday for the first time. I drove up to NY to help out family after Sandy, then trailed it back down south. The boat is now in Houston, TX. The trailer rode like a champ for the 1,700 mile road trip.

I'll post up a few pictures when I get a chance.

A big thanks to the previous owner, Anthony. I'll take good care of her.

budd 11-14-2012 07:21 AM
