Thanks g...that is what I am looking for....I would like to do the same layout as trigger....do you make cf panels.... If you could pm me your number and we could talk thanks again

Personally I don't like the carbon fiber panel. It just tells me there's a big mess of holes from previous rigging jobs behind it. If you look around the Internet there's several companies that sell it by the sheet fairly cheap. But if I had to pay someone else to do the job George would be the man.

Thanks Joe appreciate the Kind words...

Pm sent park....

Thats my boat. I made that panel and no there are no big holes behind it. The gauges are Auto Meter marine platinum with Zaiger steering.

George got your pm will call you when I get a chance....busy at work lately.... Pi75 I love the layout....going to do the same thing....hope you don't mind....how thick was the panel you used and did you mount the steering on top of the plate or did you cut out for the base of the steering thanks

pi75 01-14-2015 08:28 PM

Dont mind at all. The steering is on top of the panel. It was around 3/16

Thank you..time to start fabrication

park...in my opinion if you are going to panel the drivers side, then panel the passenger side and put SOMETHING on that side to balance it out. then just throw a grab handle or monster GPS speedo or something on that side.

the Trigger boat is beautiful, I reference it often when i'm dreaming up ideas for my boat, but everytime I see it the unbalanced dash bugs me out.

park35 01-20-2015 04:37 AM

Shibby...I agree with you that it should look balanced....I do have the large grab at on the pass side.....do you know anyone who binds carpet edges....thathanks

I have a grab rail and stereo on the pass. side.

park35 02-17-2015 04:22 AM

Dave you have the smaller grab rail....I have the three point grab rail...I am big on being able to see my gauges that is why I wanted to redo my layout...I will have to fill three holes which isn't to bad...now if it would get a little warmer out I would be all set

Okay. Here a photo of the drivers side in our race boat. A 2014 YTK that kicks ass.

Nice. Why is your tach and speedo turned like that?

Nice..,like the layout....thanks

They are tilted because they reference 75 mph, a speed we want to know when we are at it rpm range at 75 mph so both are facing straight up. When entering a turn, it's the throttle guy to make speed adjustments, and the driver has quick reference but his eyes are not in the boat!
