I will PM my cell phone number and my first mate Dan's nextel code. I only have a hand held VHF but it should work if we are close.

Hoping to load in a few way-points from Greenport to the canal tonight. Just in case we have a little am fog.

Tripps, you think your boat is slow. My crew of three, as well as me, will each be manning a paddle so that Peconic can get his 525 off an idle as he shows us the way to Superfest.

Does anyone know the waypoint for where everone plans to meet? Also, what time on Saturday?

The boat basin on the superfest site,there is a link that peconic put on there,its always mt,ill be there around 2 on saturday,but there are other spots to go to,kismet,50 bucks to tie up but its good as cash at the bar or resturant,flyns,in ocean beach, the great south bay with plenty of boats out there. see you sat and sun tripps

While reading your posts I regret that I will not be able to join you guys for what looks like the making of a great Superboat rally. Take lots of pictures so I can see the boats all gathered together. Pat and others -- safe travels.

Patrick: Keep an eye on the weather. I was out in the ocean today, VERY ROUGH. Even Peconic Bay was pretty choppy. Allow extra time when crossing the Sound and take it easy.

We will take our time tomorrow. My goal is to get through Plum Gut before dark. Plenty of time for racing around at Superfest.

We booked a room in Greenport for Friday night so we should be well rested. Oh, I forgot, it's NY, the bars don't close at 1am like CT. Well we'll have a wakeup call anyway...

I'll give a shout when we get tied up.

Any overage due to severe chickening out by previously registered Superfest attendants will be devoured by actual Superfest attendants with utmost gusto.

The $$$$ spent at kismet is refundable at the BAR yippie!!!!! The entertainment at the BAR is unbilieveable!!!! so lets meet at the boat basin and then take johns 34 to kismet with all superfest attendees on board,make john sr pay,and we will have a great time!!!! just kidding john Ill be at the basin around 2,so if you guys want to do something else,just let me know! tripps

The CT contingent (Pat "Wild Irish" McPherson and "Krazy Kraut" Stefan) have safely crossed LI Sound and are in Greenport. I'll escort them through the treacherous Shinnecock canal, and then we'll head on over to Superfest Central.
