For a small, or single engine application, this was an issue to some degree depending upon who's hull was being used. The propeller cost and selection was always an issue. Now with the high rake Maximus, the Bravo and others the advancement of technology has allowed us to take advantage of it.

Spoke with Rik today, it does sound as if he has the Bulletproof answer to the XR with big HP. :grinser010:

Does it bolt up using th e existing holes of the XR?

It's based on my same "Bravo Conversion Kit" so the cutout is not an issue as my standoff box covers the Bravo cutout.

Yes it uses a transmission, BAM so there is no problems with a cone clutch. No weak links.

I'll have photos in a week or so when I get it on a boat.

If not............................. I should spend a few hours and draw something up on Autocad that bolts up to an existing Bravo, and patent it! Like an ITS with a dropdown in the rear to accomodate a dropdown box, around 6". Connecting to a surface drive! I'm a friggin genious!!! Why hasn't Arnesson thought of this? Just send me the royalties ;)
